Abstract

To find the impact of educational stress and coping Strategies on achievement motivation. This survey research was conducted in universities of Multan. Convenient sampling technique was used. Educational Stress Scale for Adolescents and Achievement motivation Scale, were used to determine the levels of educational stress and achievement motivation receptively. Coping Orientations to Problem Experienced was used to evaluate the distinctive methods in which people respond to stress. A total of 400 participants (233 males, 167 females) with age range 17-26 were selected. There is a positive correlation among educational stress, coping strategies and achievement motivation.  No gender differences were found in relation to coping strategies and achievement motivation. Educational Stress has a significant impact on achievement motivation. Findings carve out that educational stress was dominant among females. Achievement motivation is significantly predicted by educational stress. Additionally, coping strategies play a mediating role in relation to educational stress and achievement motivation.
